Brian D. Long is a founding Shareholder of Rigrodsky & Long and has over eighteen years of legal experience. Mr. Long is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College and the Duquesne University School of Law. Upon graduation from law school, Mr. Long was associated with the firm of Roda & Nast, P.C., where he litigated mass tort, consumer fraud, and antitrust class action litigation. Following three years at Roda & Nast, Mr. Long was associated with the Wilmington, Delaware offices of Chimicles & Tikellis, LLP and Milberg LLP. Mr. Long co-founded the Firm in 2006. For over eighteen years, Mr. Long has represented shareholders and others in complex class action litigation in state and federal courts throughout the nation, with a focus on representing stockholders asserting claims for breaches of fiduciary duties and violations of the federal securities laws. Mr. Long has successfully served as lead or co-lead counsel in numerous stockholder derivative actions challenging harm to public corporations. He has argued before the Supreme Court of Delaware and the Delaware Court of Chancery. Mr. Long also has experience assisting in the representation of securities fraud plaintiffs in collateral proceedings in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.
